Amart Furniture North Lakes

It is terribly disappointing experience shopping from Amart. Even one start is too much for Amart. I ordered 18 items 30/04/2022. $ 8,250 for 18 damaged items. They delivered to me 06/09/2022. All damaged, poor quality, even broken and fixed without informing me. It is a lie to customer. It is a shame. Customer service process annoying. Wasting my times with heaps of questions calls, repeated calls from different people, different solutions, terrible customer service. After all arrangements, the North lakes store said we have no approval, however customer service said just go to store and have your discount in your cart. Never get back to you and I'll follow my case with Government and social medias.

Since we arrived from europe 1982 we are regular customers from Amart furniture. First in Lawnton and later in North Lakes 4509. We never regreted. They sell good quality goods, furnitures, bedding etc. The service is always top. They always look after us and support us. Special thanks to Susan and Mike the manager who look after us verry well lately. We like to recomend Amart in general and specialy in North Lakes 4509 to every one.

In early September I purchased a buffet and a wardrobe for about $2500. The buffet arrived 3 weeks later, with a defect in the top where the wrong colour of wood filler was used. I notified Amart furniture and spent hours on the phone to different departments, sent 4 or 5 emails with photos to different departments, each department seemed to not know how to remedy the defect some departments had no record of the purchase. Eventually they agreed to swap the buffet after I said that I will lodge a complaint with ACCC. The new buffet was meant to be delivered in mid October. Then they called and delayed that to early November. Today I called to check and they are now saying late November, the excuse was that "other people have purchased buffets and they take preference." The buffet is still in its box in our living room. Also the wardrobe we ordered says that it takes 2.5 hours for 2 people to assemble, it took 10 hours. I won't be shopping here again and will lodge the ACCC complaint today, So much of my time wasted due to this Northlakes store. Also the new freestanding wardrobe is so huge that it won't be able to be removed from this home if we move, as to disassemble it would mean causing damage to the wardrobe due to about 100 nails in the back.

Long story short, on my second bed in months, the draw the whole thing out. They have asked for photos videos ect all to which ive provided and still takes one day per email. Now ive asked for a refund and still making excuses. Getting anywhere with amart is mind numbing and very poor customer service. No one wants to accept responsibility.

I received the furniture on September 16 and found that some of the furniture was broken and some had obvious scratches. I went back to the store in the morning on the 17th to communicate with the staff, but no one took care of it. Afterwards, I discussed with the manager how to deal with it, but so far No one responded to the emails sent for a month, so I was very disappointed.
